Located in "the heart of Europe" near European institutions and NATO, Montgomery International School is a fully accredited IB school that caters to students from elementary through secondary (ages 4.5-19). They've implemented the IB curriculum through academic rigour and student personal development. Our home school is part of what makes this conference. The organisers can manage the conference with levels of professional help and event space to make everything we need possible ♡

EIMMUN Support

Our hospitality team works hard to ensure ease of participation. The EIMMMUN team offers free host families, carefully selected through a housing program we conduct each year, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable stay for delegates.Additionally, we provide a scholarship opportunity via an application contest for each edition of the conference, making participation more accessible to outstanding applicants. Our support extends beyond accommodation. we assist delegates with directions, public transport guidance, and essential tips for navigating Brussels. Our team is readily available to help with local recommendations, language assistance, and any unexpected challenges that arise during the conference.

EIMMUN SCHOLARSHIPS

At EIMMUN, we want to give everyone a chance at participating at the conference. At the moment, we only offer ticket scholarships, but our goal is to partner with a group that will cover a full ride + return from outside of belgium to give the opportunity to people who wouldn't otherwise be able to make it to the conference. We offer two scholarships, one belgian national (you have to live in belgium) and one international (you must be from outside belgium) which both require you to submit a motivation letter on one of the three following topics:- Why is MUN Important?
- Why do you do (or want to do) MUN?
- What is your biggest dream, and how does it relate to MUN?
There is no format, and creativity on the design of the essay is encouraged. There is no word count. The document must be uploaded digitally, and the text should not be handwritten. The Academic team will announce the results on the closing of delegate applications, and you must have applied before sending your submission to ecolemontgomery.mun@gmail.com as a PDF. Happy writing!

Host Housing

Need somewhere to stay during the conference? Don't worry, we've got you covered! Our host housing program gives you the opportunity to stay with a host family in brussels (Or one just outside, able to transport you to the event) so you don't have to pay for accomodation during your stay in belgium. All host famillies in the program are directly from Montgomery International School, and go through our an interviewing process by the EIMMUN Hospitality Committee to ensure every family in the program is suitable for visitors. Unfortunately, there is only a very limited number of Host Families we can provide, so please check our (Brussels Info Page) for other accomodation. Applying for the program as a visitor only require you to sign up after being confirmed and assigned to the conference, and filling out a very short form to enter the waitlist! In the case that we do not have any spots left but have a high demand, we will still try to provide paid host housing, which would still be considerably cheaper than finding other accomodation.

The Host Housing Program is currently closed!

Applications will open as soon as delegate applications begin. Chairs are priority for housing.

EIMMUN Ambassadors

At EIMMUN, ambassadors are delegates who represent their assigned country in the General Assembly. They are responsible for keeping track of their own country's decisions and values during the conference across all committees. They advise the other delegates of their country on difficult decision, and are responsible for the final voting of resolutions in the General Assembly Plenary. Ambassadors are selected from the delegate applicants by the Academic team. To have a chance at being an Ambassador at EIMMUN, make sure you mark answer the application question "Are you interested in being an Ambassador of your assigned country?" with "Yes" or "Maybe". If your experience and motivation letter is strong, you stand a chance at getting selected! If you chose "Maybe," you will only be selected as a reserve in case everyone who marked "Yes" can't represent!

Our Inaugural Edition

Thankfully, we have built a strong experience in organising MUN from our first initiative, EMOMUN 2025! The inaugural edition of the online conference (Ecole Montgomery Online Model United Nations) brought us many delegates from across the world, giving us a clear idea of our strengths and weaknesses, effectively becoming the foundation of EIMMUN. With only the overall goal of EIMMUN in mind rather than a specific theme, as seen in EMOMUN, the conference will focus on the overall experience and educate its participants in many different areas found in Model UN. This will take place in Feburary of 2026, more info on can be found on our MyMun Listing!!!!!!!

Applying as a delegation

Delegations are teams of people participating in an MUN. There are two types of delegations accepted at EIMMUN, which must apply via the corresponding MyMun.com for the upcoming edition of EIMMUN. All members of a delegation who are under 18 must have approval from a parent or legal guardian, which may be asked to verify at any point before or during the conference.ONE: Moderated Delegations (Faculty Advisors)
These include school teams or any group of participants coordinated by Faculty Advisors (FAs). All FAs must be at least 22 years old and will participate similarly to spectating observers. They will have access to our staff lounge and be responsible for their delegation's delegates. In their application, they must upload a filled document called the Moderated Delegation Dossier (click to access the format) with all the relevant information about their delegation. They will be contacted shortly after they are accepted via email, and the hospitality committee will support them up until the end of the conference.
TWO: Open Delegations (Head Delegates)
This includes teams or groups simply coordinated by a Head Delegate (HDs). All HDs must be at least 17 years of age and will participate as delegates in the conference. Their only role is to coordinate a group of people throughout the conference, and they are directly liable for any complications that may arise with a member of their delegation. They pick specific names for their delegation and must upload a filled document called the Open Delegation Dossier (click to access the format). They will be contacted via email shortly after they are accepted, and the hospitality committee will support them until they arrive at the conference.

Applying as an Observer

At EIMMUN, there are three types of Observers.ONE: Spectating Observers
These individuals only observe the proceedings in the room and do not vote on procedural matters. They can enter or exit the room at any moment unless it is currently in a voting procedure. They will be provided with a guide and a set of rules, have access to lunch periods, and are invited to the conference party.
TWO: Active Observers
Active observers are given a specific schedule with council rooms. They attend sessions at a time (along with some free exploration time), participate in the procedural matters of the room, and may even be invited to speak. They are additionally granted access to the full observer package (at the same price as a delegate ticket), the ambassador soirée, and the conference's staff rooms. They have their own set of rules for participation.
THREE: Special Observers
This ranges from Sponsors, NGOs, and invited guests. They will have access to their specific packages and may choose to operate either as an active or spectating observer (and may change their option daily). In the state of an active observer, they may be added to speaker lists to hold speeches and pass notes to delegates. They do not apply via MyMun, and are registered directly by the conference.

1. To apply as an Observer, find the corresponding MyMun.com listing for the upcoming Edition! Then, provide all the information requested in the website's streamlined application form, and wait until the applications are closed to be accepted!2. A thorough understanding of parliamentary procedure and maintaining neutrality and objectivity are essential.
